ALLSPICE

Allspice is a dried berry that, when chopped, gives a spicy aroma and taste resembling a combination of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg with a small amount of pepper. Allspice is a favorite during autumn holidays and is easily combined with cinnamon, nutmeg or cloves in most recipes. Allspice  is also the key to making a fruity and spicy winter classic drink - Mulled Wine. Allspice  is often used as a rub for marinating pork and chicken, as well as in recipes which include fish, sauces and bread.
